Art & Writing Contests 2026
Art Contest
Every year Creative Heritage holds an art contest for all local children, residents of Sutton, aged 4-17. The theme is “My Traditional Christmas”. Artists can use painting or drawing techniques, illustrating a Christmas tradition of their home, whether this is ethnic tradition or specific to their own family. The artwork should be in A4 format on paper or canvas. A digital copy can be submitted to us via the online form below by 22 November 2026. A physical copy (original) must be sent or delivered to Creative Heritage, 33 All Saints Road, Sutton, SM1 3DG by 4 December 2026. A jury will select 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in 3 age categories. All submitted physical copies will be displayed in an exhibition corner during our Christmas Community event. The winners will receive certificates and prizes!

Calling all young wordsmiths of Sutton! Creative Heritage is holding a writing contest for all local children, residents of Sutton, from Year 1 to Year 13. The theme is “My Traditional Christmas”. Writers can submit poetry or short stories (up to 300 words), illustrating a Christmas tradition of their home, whether this is an ethnic tradition or specific to their own family. A digital copy can be submitted to us via the online form below by 22 November 2026. A jury will select 1st, 2nd and 3rd place in two age categories. The winners will receive certificates and prizes!
