Young Creator Studio

What if your child could experience creating an original song and music video just like a real creative production team?
Young Creator Studio is Creative Heritage's original creative industries project for young people aged 8–17.
Instead of simply learning songs or performing on stage, participants become part of a real production, working together to create, produce and release an original song and music video from scratch.

Every project is led by the young people themselves. Guided by Creative Heritage mentors and industry professionals, participants join specialist production teams based on their interests and strengths, taking on roles such as songwriting, choreography, creative direction, filming, video editing, sound production, costume design, marketing and event planning. Together, every team contributes to one shared goal – bringing an original creative production to life.
Throughout the project, participants meet weekly to rehearse, collaborate and develop their ideas, while continuing to work together between sessions through our dedicated online project space. They experience the excitement, responsibility and teamwork involved in a real creative production, gaining practical skills, building confidence and discovering where their own talents shine.
The project culminates in the release of an original song and professionally produced music video, with opportunities to showcase the work through live performances, community events and online platforms.
Whether your child dreams of being in the spotlight or is curious about everything that happens behind the scenes, Young Creator Lab offers a unique opportunity to explore the world of music, creativity and production in a fun, supportive and community-focused environment.

Our Pilot
How do we know this project will be successful? We've already done it!

In Spring term 2026, Creative Heritage split into 8 production teams to create an original mashup of the HUNTRX's Golden and Lady Gaga's Bad Romance.

Fifteen children stepped into roles they've never experienced before. Apart from a finished creative product, they walked away from the Pilot with new skills in leadership, communication, conflict resolution and teamwork.

Excited to give it a go? We want to see you in September!
